Smoking/tobacco chewing – Stop at least one week before surgery as nicotine can delay healing and cause complications

Blood thinners – Stop taking aspirin or similar blood thinning products should be for one week before gynecomastia surgery. It may increasing bleeding tendency during the surgery

Specific Medications- ibuprofen, Diclofenac should be stopped and should be cleared with doctor before consumption

Supplements- Dietary supplements with fish oil, Vitamin E, Green tea and herbal medicines should be discontinued 5 days before surgery.

Alcohol- Avoid at least 3 days before surgery.

Pack your bag- Loose clothes, surgery paperwork, reading glasses, identity card

Jewellery and valuables- Do not bring any jewellery or valuables on the day of surgery

Kindly trim chest, abdomen and armpit hair with a trimmer, if not possible at home , will be done in the hospital itself
